Job Summary

This is a pivotal role for a Senior/Expert Community Engineer dedicated to shaping the future of cloud-native delivery through the Open Component Model (OCM), an open-source project recently donated to the NeoNephos Foundation. You will be a technical multiplier, advancing the Infrastructure-as-Data paradigm shift and enriching the Kubernetes API. Day-to-day tasks involve designing and engineering a robust, automated bootstrapping control plane crucial for secure, compliant software lifecycle management, especially within the context of sovereign cloud and EU AI Cloud enforcement. The role requires active contribution to open-source projects like Flux, Argo, and External Secrets Operator, and engaging deeply with both internal and external cloud-native communities. This position offers the unique opportunity to contribute strategically to Europe’s digital future by building ApeiroRA, an open-source reference architecture that strengthens digital sovereignty.
