This role involves working as a research and administrative officer within the newly established TRR 420 "CONCENTRATE" Collaborative Research Centre, funded by the German Research Foundation (DFG). The successful candidate will support all strategic activities, including organizing project meetings, synergy experiments, training workshops, and a major conference in 2027. Key responsibilities also encompass the administrative supervision of junior scientists, PhD students, and postdocs, alongside managing all TRR office administrative tasks, including financial management and communication with the DFG. This position offers a unique opportunity to contribute to cutting-edge interdisciplinary research focused on deciphering molecular and microbial processes related to glycan stabilization in the ocean, combining laboratory experiments with field measurements in marine habitats.
