This role involves managing the track infrastructure within the municipal ports of Hannover, focusing specifically on the structural integrity and operational safety of the rail network. The Construction Site Manager will be responsible for the inspection, assessment, and comprehensive documentation of the track infrastructure, including switches and rails. A core component of the job is the technical and personnel leadership of the track construction group, alongside the local coordination and supervision of external contractors performing both track superstructure and civil engineering works. Candidates must possess vocational training as a Track Builder, Switch Mechanic, or Civil Engineering Specialist, coupled with a qualification as a Master Craftsman or Technician. Success in this position requires strong technical understanding, knowledge of track materials, and ideally, experience in leading personnel.
