Job Summary

This role is for a technical officer specializing in major traffic routes, special structures, and tendering within the Civil Engineering department. The successful candidate will independently manage the planning of main traffic roads, reserved network roads, special structures, cycling, and pedestrian traffic, covering everything from preliminary design to execution planning and tendering. Key responsibilities include project-related design processing for road and traffic facilities, calculating quantities and costs, and representing the department's interests internally and externally. This position is highly relevant given the current public discourse on the traffic transition and changing mobility behavior. Candidates must possess a university degree in Civil Engineering and relevant professional experience, along with strong organizational, communication, and negotiation skills.

Required Skills

Education

Completed university degree (e.g., Bachelor, Diplom (FH)), preferably in Civil Engineering, or qualification for career group 2, first entry level, technical services.

Experience

  • Minimum three years of practical professional experience as a Civil Engineer (required for full entry level)
  • Professional experience in traffic planning (desirable)
  • Experience in representing departmental interests (implied)
