Job Summary

This position calls for an Electrical Engineer specializing in high-voltage and insulation technology to join the Material, Chemistry, and High Voltage Laboratory at the generator manufacturing site in Erfurt. The core focus involves material input testing and addressing technical issues related to the high-voltage insulation used in production. Key responsibilities include independently managing interdisciplinary technical questions regarding insulation and high-voltage systems, updating technical documentation and manufacturing specifications, and conducting electrical tests in the high-voltage laboratory. The engineer will also be crucial in diagnosing damages, determining repair procedures for the plant or customer sites, and serving as the technical contact person for insulation material suppliers.
