Job Summary

This full-time role involves working as an Electrician for a major rail vehicle production site in Salzgitter, Germany, which operates under the IG Metall collective agreement. The successful candidate will be responsible for the assembly and disassembly of electronic components on rail vehicles, requiring precision and adherence to technical specifications. Key day-to-day tasks include reading and implementing complex electrical circuit and installation diagrams, creating electrical connections, and wiring control cabinets and assemblies. A crucial part of the job involves testing wiring and electrical components and accurately documenting all test results and completed work. To qualify, you must have a completed vocational training in electrical engineering (e.g., as an Industrial Electrician or Mechatronics Technician), solid knowledge of electrical schematics, and proficiency in using measuring devices. The position requires flexibility to work in a 2- or 3-shift model.
