Job Summary

This role is for a Telecommunications Service Technician focused on maintaining and expanding core network infrastructure across Germany. Key responsibilities include the installation, commissioning, and integration of DWDM systems at core locations, performing detailed optical measurements (e.g., Spectrum Analyzer, 100G RFC 2544 testing), and providing ongoing maintenance and troubleshooting for active transmission technology. You will be responsible for documenting all work to ensure successful project completion. Candidates must possess a completed electro-technical qualification (such as an IT System Electronics Technician) and professional experience in telecommunications or network technology, specifically with rack & stack services, fiber optic cabling, and knowledge of UPS systems. The position offers a permanent contract, attractive IG Metall-oriented compensation, and excellent opportunities for permanent employment within a leading international telecommunications group, requiring extensive nationwide travel from Monday to Friday.
