Job Summary

This role is for a dedicated Service and Installation Technician responsible for maintaining and expanding customer connections within a major German cable network operator’s subsidiary. Day-to-day responsibilities include managing customer case processing, activating and deactivating services, and performing installations of individual connections utilizing Docsis and ONT technologies. A critical component of the job involves specialized troubleshooting of customer lines across network levels NE 3 and NE 4, covering both coaxial and fiber optic systems, often requiring emergency response and participation in scheduled on-call duty. The ideal candidate must be a certified skilled worker with professional experience in the communications industry, possessing specific expertise in Docsis and PON technologies, and fluent German (minimum B2).
