Job Summary

This role is for a dedicated Field Service and Installation Technician responsible for maintaining and expanding customer connectivity within a major German cable network. Day-to-day duties involve comprehensive case management, including activating and deactivating customer connections, installing individual Docsis and ONT endpoints, and performing complex troubleshooting of faults in network levels NE 3 and NE 4 (Coaxial and Fiber Optic lines). The technician will also be required to handle emergency breakdowns and participate actively in the mandatory on-call service rotation. Key qualifications include vocational training, substantial experience in the communication sector, and specific technical knowledge of Docsis and PON technologies.
