Job Summary
This role involves performing essential laboratory, molecular biological, and organizational tasks within the Clinic and Polyclinic for Neurology at the TUM Klinikum in Munich. The CTA will be responsible for biobanking, sample processing, and applying molecular biology and immunology techniques. A key part of the job includes data processing in database systems, along with rigorous quality control and quality assurance measures. The ideal candidate must hold a completed vocational training as a BTA, MTA, CTA, or equivalent, possess experience in molecular biological activities like DNA/RNA extraction, and demonstrate strong teamwork skills. Education
Completed vocational training as a BTA (Biological Technical Assistant), MTA (Medical Technical Assistant), CTA (Chemical Technical Assistant), or comparable qualification
Experience
- Professional experience in molecular biological activities (e.g., DNA and RNA extraction)
- Desirable experience in generating NGS DNA and RNA libraries
- Desirable experience in flow cytometry
- Advantageous experience with MS Access
