Job Summary

The University of Potsdam is seeking an IT Coordinator to join the Presidential Office, working closely with the Center for Information Technology and Media (ZIM). This role is crucial for managing and advancing the specialized IT applications and equipment used by the 30-person office. Day-to-day responsibilities include leading internal working groups, coordinating IT application usage, and independently analyzing and optimizing existing IT specialized procedures. A key focus will be identifying suitable business processes for initial digitalization, conceptualizing their introduction, including process modeling, requirements definition, software selection, implementation, training, and documentation. The ideal candidate holds a degree in Computer Science or Business Informatics, possesses deep knowledge of project management and process analysis, and has experience with complex IT systems and database technologies (SQL).
