Job Summary

This role is essential for maintaining, operating, and expanding critical digital infrastructure within a major public transport provider. Day-to-day tasks involve the upkeep of telephone and signaling intercom systems, including associated end devices. The administrator will be responsible for construction supervision, planning system renewals and expansions, ensuring the safety and security of maintenance measures, and meticulous management of cable documentation systems. The position requires a foundation in information or communication electronics, supplemented by advanced training as a state-certified Electrical Engineer specializing in Communication or Information Technology. Candidates must demonstrate initial professional experience and strong knowledge of network technology, particularly fiber optic and copper cable networks, and modern telephone systems. This is a permanent position offering flexible working hours and requires participation in an on-call duty roster, making it a stable and impactful role in urban infrastructure.

Required Skills

Education

Completed training as an Information Electronics Technician or Communication Electronics Technician (or comparable); Further training as a State-Certified Electrical Engineer specializing in Communications Technology / Information Technology (or comparable experience)
