This Implementation Engineer role focuses on ensuring the seamless operation of modern access control and time tracking systems, specifically halion products, for clients. Day-to-day tasks involve the full lifecycle management of these systems, from hardware installation and network integration to configuration, maintenance, updates, and patching on customer systems and managed servers. A key component of the role is providing first and second-level technical support via phone, email, and remote maintenance, along with diligent documentation and ticket tracking using helpdesk systems like Jira or Zendesk. You will collaborate closely with internal development teams and external partners to resolve complex issues. The ideal candidate possesses a technical or commercial IT background, strong knowledge of IT system technology, middleware, and is proficient in handling data structures (XML, XSLT).
