Job Summary

This role involves performing routine analytical examinations of various water samples based on legal requirements within an accredited environmental chemistry laboratory at the University Hospital Schleswig-Holstein (UKSH). The successful candidate will primarily focus on chemical water analysis, utilizing state-of-the-art analytical equipment such as ICP-MS, GC-MS(MS), and LC-MS(MS). Day-to-day tasks include operating and maintaining these computer-controlled devices, performing sample preparation, and optimizing/ensuring the quality of analytical procedures. Key qualifications include a completed education as a Chemical Technical Assistant or Laboratory Assistant, coupled with solid knowledge and technical understanding of chemical analysis.
