Job Summary

This role involves actively supporting and coordinating complex network operator transition projects (Grid Operator Change) within the electricity and gas sectors for an energy company acting as an IT and billing shared service provider. Day-to-day tasks include serving as the central interface between project management, specialized departments, and clients, coordinating system settings for data migration, and performing project-specific customizing of the internal NBW-Tool in collaboration with technical teams. A critical component is ensuring data quality and compliance by creating migration guidelines, analyzing data deliveries, and executing mass data conversions using existing tools. Candidates must possess a strong understanding of energy utility processes, expertise in master data management, and practical experience with SAP S4 (IS-U) and MS Dynamics environments. Knowledge of German energy market regulations, particularly BDEW guidelines and processes for Distribution Network Operators (VNB) and Metering Point Operators (MSB), is essential. The position is based in Hamburg but offers a high degree of remote work and is initially fixed-term until February 2027, with potential for extension.
