Job Summary

This role is for a skilled DevOps Engineer focused on developing, configuring, managing, and maintaining the critical container infrastructure using Kubernetes and SUSE Rancher. The professional will be instrumental in advancing the company's DevOps toolchain, collaborating closely with IT security, data center infrastructure, and development teams. Key responsibilities include automating service deployment solutions, planning and executing migrations of legacy software to containerized applications, and ensuring comprehensive documentation. The ideal candidate possesses a degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience, multi-year professional experience operating enterprise container platforms, and familiarity with scripting languages like Shell or Python. Fluency in German and good English skills are required to succeed in this highly collaborative and security-conscious environment within the healthcare sector.

Required Skills

Education

Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Computer Science or a related field, or comparable vocational training with relevant professional experience

Experience

  • Multi-year practical professional experience in operating enterprise container platforms (e.g., Kubernetes, Docker Swarm)
  • Professional experience in container infrastructure management, configuration, and maintenance
  • Experience planning and executing migrations of legacy software to containerized applications
  • Experience with Nutanix Appliances (Advantageous)
