Job Summary

This role is based with a globally leading provider of turbomachinery, gas and steam turbines, and compressors. The successful candidate will act as a technical expert, integrating modern Operational Technology (OT) connectivity solutions with classic automation and control systems. Key responsibilities include working hands-on with Siemens PCS7 systems, performing structured fault analysis and troubleshooting on turbine controls, and developing robust cyber security concepts in close collaboration with clients. You will also lead projects, manage technical coordination between customers, internal departments, and subcontractors, and implement necessary software modifications. This position requires a Bachelor's degree in a relevant engineering discipline (Electrical, Automation, Mechatronics) and strong practical experience in automation systems and OT networking. Excellent proficiency in both German and English is mandatory, making this an excellent opportunity for skilled engineers seeking a permanent contract under the favorable IG Metall collective agreement.
