Job Summary

This role involves working with Siemens Mobility, a global leader in rail vehicle manufacturing, focusing on the electrical assembly and testing of components for modern rail transport systems. Day-to-day tasks include the assembly and wiring of electrical components for rail vehicles, such as inverters (power supply blocks/auxiliary converters) and their sub-assemblies, including power electronic modules. Alternatively, the role may focus on conducting functional tests of electrical systems on rail vehicles, including troubleshooting and identifying wiring faults. Key requirements include a completed professional qualification as an Electrician, Electronics Technician, or Mechatronics Technician, coupled with professional experience in electrical engineering or plant construction. Candidates must be proficient in reading circuit diagrams and handling electrical testing and measuring devices. This position offers an attractive compensation package based on the IG Metall/Electrical collective agreement, including industry bonuses, and provides an option for permanent takeover by the client.
