Job Summary

This role involves essential maintenance and repair for electrical operating systems and building infrastructure within Siemens Mobility, a global leader in rail vehicle construction, located at their testing center in Wegberg. The successful candidate will be responsible for executing scheduled maintenance tasks according to internal and manufacturer specifications, including cleaning, lubrication, and topping up operating fluids. Key daily tasks include conducting functional tests, collecting and evaluating monitoring protocols, and performing switching operations in both low-voltage and high-voltage networks (up to 36 kV). Furthermore, the role covers general electrical infrastructure maintenance, such as installing sockets and lights, laying electrical cables, and performing small repairs on electrical systems and devices. Candidates must have a completed vocational qualification in electrical engineering, professional experience in electrical and building/energy technology, and be willing to work in a 3-shift system, including weekends.
