Job Summary

This Junior Project Engineer role focuses on supporting the planning and realization of major infrastructure projects, specifically concerning nature, species, and environmental protection. Day-to-day responsibilities include ensuring the quality of environmental technical reports, reviewing project plans for environmental relevance, and actively ensuring strict adherence to all relevant nature and species conservation laws and regulations. The successful candidate will also assist in developing countermeasures when project goals are jeopardized and coordinate closely with planners, consultants, and internal/external partners. You will also contribute to the design of tenders and support the procurement processes. The ideal candidate holds a degree in Biology, Geosciences, or Landscape Planning and brings initial practical experience in creating environmental planning documentation and a strong understanding of environmental protection legislation. This position offers a chance to contribute to sustainable infrastructure development within one of Germany's largest engineering organizations.

Required Skills

Education

Successful completion of a university or technical college degree in Biology, Geosciences, Landscape Planning, Land Management, or a comparable field.
