Job Summary

The City of Bochum is seeking an engaged SAP HCM Specialist to join the Office for Personnel Management, Information Technology, and Organization. This role is central to the ongoing SAP HCM implementation project, requiring active participation in requirements gathering, testing, training, and Go-Live activities, as well as project planning and monitoring. Post-implementation, you will define and manage the interface between the City of Bochum and external service providers, focusing on the continuous development and optimization of HR processes and the SAP HR system. The ideal candidate possesses proven, multi-year practical experience in SAP HCM, ideally including significant involvement in a previous implementation project, particularly within a municipal environment. This is a permanent, full-time position offering flexible working hours, including up to 80% home office, and the opportunity to contribute to the digital transformation of a major city administration.
