Job Summary

This role is for an experienced RF IC Design Engineer to join a semiconductor startup in Dresden, focusing on developing next-generation NR+ microchips for non-cellular 5G massive IoT applications using FD-SOI technology. The engineer will be crucial in designing RF integrated circuits for wireless communication systems in deep-submicron CMOS technology, conducting top-level simulations, and collaborating closely with layout and system teams. Key responsibilities include defining production and lab test plans, analyzing ATE/lab results for yield issues, and ensuring designs meet specifications through rigorous verification and characterization. The ideal candidate must have significant industry experience in RF/Analog IC Design, expertise across the entire RFIC product development lifecycle (concept to mass production), and proficiency with tools like Cadence Virtuoso and Spectre RF.
