This role is pivotal in shaping the future of healthcare by driving the pre-development of physical algorithms and concepts for CT, and supporting their implementation into the software framework. Day-to-day responsibilities include investigating innovative methods through simulations and measurements on CT systems, creating clinical-technical concepts, and guiding product development from feasibility through validation and regulatory approval. You will collaborate closely with clinical partners to design studies and reports necessary for medical device approval. The ideal candidate holds a Master's degree or PhD in (Medical) Physics, Mathematics, or a related field, possesses deep knowledge of CT physics, medical image processing, AI techniques, and strong programming skills in Matlab, Python, and C#. Success in this role requires passion for innovation, results-orientation, and fluent communication skills in both German and English.
