This role involves providing specialized 2nd Level Support for complex Windows and/or Linux environments, focusing on ensuring the stability and efficiency of the IT infrastructure. The specialist will be responsible for the analysis, troubleshooting, and resolution of technical issues across network infrastructures, servers, and collaboration platforms like Office 365 and MS Teams. Key responsibilities include system administration, performance monitoring using tools like SolarWinds or Prometheus, implementing security policies, and collaborating closely with 1st and 3rd Level Support teams on escalations and new technology rollouts. The ideal candidate possesses deep technical knowledge in operating systems and networking, experience with virtualization (VMware, Hyper-V), configuration management (Ansible, Puppet), and scripting for automation. Success in this role requires strong communication skills, a proactive approach to continuous learning, and a commitment to data security and process optimization.
