Job Summary

This role is for a proactive and experienced (Senior) Sales Executive focused on acquiring new enterprise growth customers within the German mid-market. The successful candidate will be responsible for achieving sales targets, driving new customer acquisition, and ensuring customer satisfaction. Day-to-day tasks involve actively penetrating the assigned sales territory (postal codes 1-5), orchestrating activities across various internal units like Specialized Sales and Marketing, and demonstrating the value of SAP solutions, particularly in manufacturing, consumer goods, process industry, retail, or service provider sectors. A key aspect of the role is building and maintaining a robust sales pipeline, collaborating with SAP partners and industry associations, and coordinating indirect sales efforts. This position is attractive due to its focus on strategic new customer acquisition, collaboration within a strong partner network, and the opportunity to work with complex software and cloud deals, contributing to SAP's market position in the German mid-market.

Required Skills

Education

University degree (ideally)

Experience

  • 4+ years of sales experience in the software sector
  • Experience in the ERP environment (ideally)
  • Experience in direct and indirect sales
  • Proven experience and success in new customer acquisition
  • Market and industry knowledge in manufacturing, consumer goods, process industry, and/or service providers
