Signal Technician | Signaltechniker (m/w/d)

Job Summary
This permanent, full-time role involves critical maintenance and diagnostic work within railway control and safety technology. The Signal Technician will be responsible for conducting adjustment and functional controls on essential infrastructure, including signal circuits, switch drives, and track clearance systems. Key daily tasks include checking the lighting technology for main and secondary signals and switches, as well as controlling and parameterizing level crossing systems. Candidates must possess completed vocational training as an Electronics Technician (Industrial Engineering, Automation Technology, or Electrical Installation) and hold a Class B driver's license. The ideal candidate demonstrates a high sense of responsibility and reliability, and professional experience in the electrotechnical field is highly advantageous. This position offers varied and demanding tasks with opportunities for independent work and continuous professional development.
Required Skills
Education
Completed vocational training as an Electronics Technician for Industrial Engineering, Electronics Technician for Automation Technology, Electrical Installer, Industrial Electrician, or comparable qualification.
Experience
- Professional experience in the electrotechnical field (advantageous)
- Qualification as a Signal Worker (desirable)
