Job Summary

This role involves high-level project responsibility for cross-site Facility Management (FM) projects, acting as the central escalation point and interface between site managers and department leadership. The Site Manager is tasked with the planning, control, and implementation of technical and infrastructural FM projects, ensuring operational quality and contractual compliance. Key responsibilities include rigorous budget and cost control, forecasting, reporting, and deviation analysis, alongside coordinating internal and external service providers. The ideal candidate possesses a technical or commercial degree/qualification in FM or related engineering fields, coupled with several years of professional experience in both operational and project-based FM. Strong knowledge of CAFM systems (like Planon) and IT tools (SAP, SharePoint, Excel) is essential, along with excellent organizational, communication, and diplomatic skills to manage complex client requirements and optimize operational processes.

Required Skills

Education

Completed technical or commercial vocational training or degree in Facility Management, Supply Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Building Technology, Industrial Engineering, or similar field.

Experience

  • Several years of professional experience in Facility Management (operational and project-related)
  • Experience in project leadership and coordination of multiple sites/properties
  • Knowledge of contract contents, service specifications, and Service-Level Requirements
  • Experience with CAFM systems (e.g., Planon)
  • Experience in budget planning, profitability, and reporting
