Job Summary
This role is ideal for a Data Management Engineer eager to specialize in the maintenance and configuration of measurement points and signals within Safety and Control Systems (SaCoS) for 4-stroke engines. The core responsibility involves managing these data points within the Technical Engine Database (TED), which is crucial for test operations, commissioning, data logging, online services, and various data-driven applications. Day-to-day tasks include comprehensive variant and configuration management, contributing to standardization efforts, and creating essential documentation (e.g., measurement point and signal lists) for internal teams, customers, and classification societies. The successful candidate will work closely with project and release management, independently executing defined work packages, and continuously improving data quality processes. A background in engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Mechatronics, or IT) combined with experience in engine control systems and database management is required, along with strong communication skills and proficiency in both German and English.
