Job Summary

This role is ideal for a highly motivated Research Scientist specializing in Polymer Chemistry, focusing on the planning and execution of polymer and precursor syntheses. Day-to-day tasks involve rigorous purification, characterization, and evaluation of products using modern analytical techniques such as GPC, NMR, and UV-Vis. A key responsibility is optimizing and scaling existing synthesis processes to facilitate transfer into production environments. The successful candidate will actively contribute to R&D projects, collaborate across teams, ensure adherence to quality and safety standards, and manage hazardous materials responsibly. Candidates must hold a university degree, ideally a PhD or Master's with professional experience, in Chemistry with a focus on Polymer/Macromolecular Chemistry, coupled with strong practical experience in preparative chemistry and controlled radical polymerization methods like ATRP and RAFT. This position offers long-term, permanent employment within an expanding engineering service provider.
