Job Summary

The University Medical Center Freiburg is seeking a dedicated Clinical Study Nurse to join the newly established Study Center within the Department of Neurology and Neurophysiology. This role is crucial for managing clinical trials, particularly focusing on inflammatory diseases of the nervous system, and serves as a key interface with international industry partners. Day-to-day responsibilities include the independent planning and execution of patient visits (Phase I–IV drug and medical device studies) both in the outpatient clinic and on medical wards, ensuring strict adherence to the study protocol. Key tasks involve practical duties such as organizing diagnostics, administering study medication, processing blood samples, and administrative documentation using IT systems. The ideal candidate has a completed medical education (e.g., nursing or medical assistant), strong organizational and communication skills, and a willingness to engage in continuous professional development.
