Job Summary

This role is based at the Institute of Human Genetics at the University Medical Center Freiburg, serving as a central coordinator for sample reception and pre-analytical processing. Day-to-day responsibilities include organizing daily workflows, verifying and documenting patient information for molecular and cytogenetic testing, and managing data entry in specialized database systems. You will act as a primary point of contact for patients and external senders, resolving queries regarding incomplete submissions and preparing medical billing. For candidates with relevant technical backgrounds, the role may also involve DNA extraction and laboratory support.
