Job Summary

This part-time (60%) Laboratory Technician role, based at the Chair of Animal Nutrition and Dietetics at LMU Munich, involves performing crucial laboratory analyses on various animal samples, including feed, feces, urine, and blood. Day-to-day tasks include applying established methods such as HPLC, GC, IC, flow cytometry, and ELISAs, as well as actively contributing to the expansion of the lab's methodological spectrum, particularly in immunology and chromatographic procedures. The position requires meticulous documentation, the creation and maintenance of SOPs, and providing essential support to ongoing research projects, including assisting PhD students and interns with their lab work. Candidates must have successfully completed vocational training as a Laboratory Assistant (BTA, MTA, CTA, or equivalent) and possess proven experience in immunological and/or chromatographic techniques.
