Job Summary

This role is for an experienced Electrical Engineering Automation Systems Engineer specializing in measurement and control technology within the industrial automation sector. The successful candidate will be responsible for the independent project planning of measurement and control automation systems, including selecting and configuring hardware components and developing application-specific control software. Day-to-day tasks involve defining and adhering to programming standards, creating automation concepts for measuring devices, and ensuring the timely completion of programs for controls, drives, and visualizations. A key aspect of the job is continuous self-directed learning regarding new programming techniques. The position also requires training project engineers and field staff, and independently conducting or supporting commissioning activities both domestically and internationally. This permanent, full-time position offers the opportunity to work with prominent clients in industrial automation, particularly in the cold rolling industry, and requires proficiency with Siemens automation and drive technology.
