Job Summary

This role involves coordinating and executing all organizational aspects of events, coupled with active social media content development and channel management for the City of Hildesheim's Economic Development department. The specialist will be responsible for planning, booking, and managing all event resources, handling invitation and participant management, and ensuring smooth on-site operations. A key focus is developing structured social media content, including texts, short videos, and other formats, in close collaboration with department teams, and maintaining the editorial plan. The ideal candidate possesses a degree or equivalent qualification in areas like Regional Management, Event Management, or Marketing, coupled with proven experience in event organization, networking, and public relations. This is a part-time position (30 hours/week) requiring flexibility for afternoon and evening appointments, offering an opportunity to shape the city's image as an attractive business location.

Required Skills

Education

University degree or comparable qualification in Regional Management, Event Management, or Marketing; OR successfully completed Angestelltenlehrgang II (Employee Training Course II)

Experience

  • Professional experience in Social Media and events (Desirable)
