Job Summary
This leadership role focuses on managing and optimizing IT client services for the City of Hildesheim's administration and schools. The Head of IT Services will be responsible for defining, planning, and organizing IT Client Management, including establishing a comprehensive Service Catalog and ensuring operational execution of all IT services. Key responsibilities involve organizing and directing First-Level Support, managing the User Help Desk, and overseeing IT on-site services. The role requires strong leadership in managing financial, technical, and personnel resources, coordinating asset management (inventory and lifecycle), and collaborating closely with adjacent IT departments. Candidates must possess a degree in Computer Science or equivalent practical experience, coupled with multi-year experience in IT Service Management and ideally, prior leadership experience.
