Job Summary

This role involves acting as a Test Engineer specializing in Flight Control Systems for Airbus Defence and Space in Manching. The professional will be crucial in ensuring the safety and reliability of aircraft systems by creating the Integration & Verification Plan (IVP) and defining the verification strategy, including assigning Means of Compliance (M0C) to functional requirements using DOORS. Day-to-day tasks include supporting test bench development, executing system and hardware/software integration tests, performing test procedures on test rigs, evaluating results, and generating comprehensive test reports. Key qualifications include a degree in Electrical Engineering or Aerospace, experience with safety standards like ARP 4754 and DO-178/DO-331, and proficiency in Python, Git/Bitbucket, and SCADE model-based testing.
