This role involves acting as a Galley Version Engineer for Airbus Operations in Hamburg, focusing on the detailed design, integration, and certification of galley and stowage systems within various aircraft configurations. Day-to-day tasks include performing comprehensive analytical thinking to support system design, managing cabin customization requirements, and collaborating extensively with cross-functional design and manufacturing teams. A crucial aspect is leading project management activities related to monument development, ensuring all solutions adhere to stringent aerospace standards and regulations through robust quality management processes. The ideal candidate must possess a completed degree in a relevant engineering discipline (e.g., Aerospace, Mechanical, Electrical), experience in industrial design, supplier management, and project management, and proficiency with specialized tools like Catia V5 and vpm. Fluent German and English skills, both written and spoken, are mandatory for effective communication with internal stakeholders and regulatory bodies.
