Job Summary

This role places you as the central technical expert for existing Industrial Steam Turbine (IST) systems, providing essential support to global customers and internal colleagues regarding operation, maintenance, optimization, and modernization. Day-to-day responsibilities involve conducting in-depth data analyses, clarifying damage incidents, and performing Root Cause Analysis (RCA) on turbine systems, often requiring travel to customer sites and international locations. You will act as a key liaison, coordinating technical requirements closely with sales, production, assembly, and global engineering teams. A critical component of the job is active knowledge transfer, where you will develop training materials and working instructions, and oversee complex repair and modernization projects within the worldwide network. This position requires a strong background in mechanical engineering, rotating machinery, and thermodynamics, coupled with fluent communication skills in both German and English to succeed in this international environment focused on industrial decarbonization.
