Job Summary

The GWDG, a national supercomputing center and IT competence hub for the Max Planck Society and the University of Göttingen, is seeking two Data Protection Managers to join their interdisciplinary team. This role is critical for maintaining high standards of data security and privacy, particularly within the context of High-Performance Computing (HPC) and advanced AI services. Day-to-day responsibilities include managing the Data Protection Management System (DSMS), conducting Data Protection Impact Assessments (DPIA), coordinating Technical and Organisational Measures (TOM) under GDPR, and handling data protection breaches and subject rights requests. The ideal candidate possesses a Master's degree in a relevant field (Law, Computer Science, Business Informatics) and several years of operational data protection experience. They must have expert knowledge of GDPR/BDSG and be proficient in contract management related to order processing (AVV).
