Job Summary

The GWDG, a national supercomputing center and IT competence hub for the Max Planck Society and the University of Göttingen, is seeking two Generative AI Developers to join their interdisciplinary team. This role focuses on advancing and optimizing AI services, including Chat AI, Voice AI, and Image AI, and further developing the SAIA Platform (Scalable Artificial Intelligence Accelerator). Responsibilities involve implementing and optimizing inference jobs on HPC clusters, supporting external scientists and companies in AI service development, and designing solutions for customer use cases based on existing AI infrastructure. Candidates must possess a university degree in Computer Science or a related field, very strong programming skills (primarily Python), excellent Linux and DevOps knowledge (CI/CD, Gitlab), and foundational understanding of generative AI (LLMs, diffusion models, PyTorch/TensorFlow).
