Job Summary

This role involves the crucial planning, implementation, and maintenance of medical interfaces connecting laboratory, hospital, and practice information systems within the critical infrastructure of the healthcare sector. The specialist will be responsible for integrating and adapting data transmission formats, including LDT2, LDT3, HL7, FHIR, and XML, and managing communication servers like xGen, Mirth, or Cloverleaf to ensure stable and secure message exchange. Key responsibilities include monitoring, troubleshooting, and providing operational support, alongside technical documentation. Candidates should possess a degree in (Medical) Informatics or a comparable qualification, coupled with deep knowledge of medical communication standards and practical experience in interface implementation and data exchange within healthcare.
