Job Summary

This role involves driving the expansion of the security steel business, making a crucial contribution to the sales strategy in the Defense sector. The Sales Manager will be responsible for identifying and acquiring new domestic and international customers, acting as the primary expert for SECURE products, and managing the entire customer lifecycle from initial needs assessment and contract negotiation through to delivery and complaint resolution. Key activities include performing targeted market and customer analyses, preparing customized quotes, and representing the company at trade fairs and industry events. Success in this position requires a degree in Economics, Mechanical Engineering, or a related technical field, coupled with several years of professional experience in sales, ideally within the steel production or specialized vehicle manufacturing industries. Strong negotiation skills, a sovereign demeanor, and a willingness to travel regularly are essential for success.

Completed degree in Economics, Mechanical Engineering, or a comparable technical field

Experience

  • Several years of professional experience in sales or the application/use of security steels
  • Experience, ideally, with a European steel producer or in vehicle/special vehicle construction
  • Relevant industry knowledge in the Defence sector (advantageous)
  • Technological know-how in the Defence sector (advantageous)
