Heat Treatment Engineer | Ingenieur (m/w/d)

Job Summary

This role involves supporting the production area of heavy plates, specifically focusing on the heat treatment process which includes annealing furnaces, a water quenching system, and straightening machines. The Heat Treatment Engineer will be responsible for production planning, coordinating process flows, and ensuring compliance with deadlines, quality, and performance targets. A key part of the role is managing and implementing continuous improvement projects related to product quality and manufacturing performance, while also ensuring the technical availability of production equipment. Candidates must possess a technical degree, preferably in Materials Technology, Process Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or Metallurgy, combined with several years of professional experience in a rolling mill or similar industrial environment. The position requires strong technical understanding of production facilities, structured and independent working methods, and proficiency in standard MS Office tools, ideally coupled with experience in SAP production modules.
