Job Summary
This role involves driving innovation by defining and managing requirements for complex automotive systems, working directly with major OEMs and suppliers. The Requirements Engineer is responsible for the full requirements lifecycle: analyzing, capturing, and defining system and software specifications, creating requirement documents (specifications), and ensuring documentation is maintained throughout the development process. A key part of the job is collaborating closely with various technical departments and development teams, conducting reviews, and aligning requirements with stakeholders. Furthermore, you will contribute to the continuous improvement of Requirements Engineering processes. To succeed, you must hold a degree in a relevant technical field (e.g., Computer Science or Electrical Engineering) and possess professional experience in Requirements Engineering, ideally within the automotive sector. Familiarity with critical industry standards like ISO 26262 and A-Spice, alongside practical experience with Requirements Management tools (such as DOORS or ALM), is essential for this challenging position.
Required Skills
Education
Degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Vehicle Technology, or comparable qualification
Experience
- Professional experience in Requirements Engineering (multi-year experience implied)
- Experience in the Automotive sector (ideally)
- Familiarity with relevant automotive norms and standards (e.g., ISO 26262, A-Spice)
- Experience with a Requirements Management Tool (e.g., DOORS, DNG, ALM)
