Job Summary
As a Product Development Engineer for High-Speed Connectors, you will lead the design and industrialization of innovative connector solutions, specifically focusing on high-speed data transmission and signal integrity. Your daily responsibilities include creating complex 3D models and technical drawings, defining electromagnetic compatibility (EMC) requirements, and developing test adapters for electrical validation. You will play a critical role in the entire product lifecycle, from initial prototyping and Finite Element Analysis (FEA) simulations to technical documentation and supplier selection. This role is highly collaborative, requiring you to provide technical support to manufacturing and quality departments while acting as a primary technical contact for international clients. Required Skills
Education
University degree in Electrical Engineering, Communications Engineering, or a comparable technical qualification.
Experience
- Several years of professional experience in the development of high-speed data connectors or high-frequency signal transmission components
- Professional experience in the military or aerospace industry environment is preferred
- Extensive experience with 3D CAD systems and high-frequency measurement equipment
- Proven experience in prototyping, testing, and technical validation according to industry standards
- Experience in technical change management and impact analysis
