Senior IT Service Technician | Senior IT-Servicetechniker (m/w/d)

Job Summary

This role involves working as a Senior IT Service Technician for the primary digitalization partner of the German Armed Forces (Bundeswehr), contributing to the security and operational capability of one of Germany's largest and most complex IT infrastructures. Day-to-day responsibilities include receiving and resolving IT and telecommunications (TK) disruptions, ensuring compliance with service levels, and meticulous documentation within established procedures. The technician will handle on-site tasks related to installations, moves, additions, and changes (IMAC) of IT/TK equipment, participate in integration projects, and perform hardware installation, commissioning, and user instruction. Key requirements include a completed vocational training in IT System Integration or similar, at least three years of professional experience in the IT/TK sector, and fundamental knowledge of ticketing systems and IT processes, preferably with ITIL certification. The position is full-time, permanent, and based in Veitshöchheim, requiring strong organizational skills, independence, and fluent German.
