Job Summary

This role is for an experienced Power Plant Operator/Shift Operator to join EEW Energy from Waste in Büddenstedt, focusing on the energetic recycling of waste. The operator will be responsible for the continuous monitoring and control of the plant via the process control system, ensuring adherence to shift supervisor instructions and managing start-up and shut-down procedures, especially following disruptions. Key duties include conducting regular control rounds, analyzing process data for deviations, performing safe electrical and mechanical lockouts (Freischaltungen), and executing maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair work in collaboration with the maintenance team. The position requires a completed electro-technical apprenticeship and the mandatory qualification as a certified Power Plant Operator, ideally with experience in a waste incineration plant or power station shift operation.
