Job Summary

This critical role involves leading the electrical and control technology operations at an Energy from Waste facility, focusing heavily on maintenance, safety, and technical training. The Master Technician will be the primary trainer for apprentice electronics technicians, overseeing their selection, development, and technical guidance. Day-to-day responsibilities include planning and supervising repairs on electrical and control system components, managing system malfunctions, and ensuring continuous plant operation. A core duty is acting as the Responsible Electrical Specialist, providing technical leadership to the electrical engineering team, coordinating external contractors, and ensuring compliance with all safety norms and regulations. The ideal candidate must possess a Master's or Technician qualification in the electrical trade, expertise in SIMATIC S7 programming, and proven experience in technical leadership and structured, process-oriented work.

Required Skills

Education

Mandatory completed Master Technician (Meister) or Technician qualification in the electrical trade, or certified Power Plant Master Technician. Mandatory Trainer Certification (Ausbilderschein).
