Job Summary

This role involves working as a Power Plant Operator within a waste-to-energy facility, focusing on the reliable operation and control of the plant via a process control system, primarily within a shift schedule. Key responsibilities include continuous monitoring of operational data, implementing corrective measures during deviations or disruptions, and safely executing start-up, shut-down, and standstill procedures. The operator will also conduct regular inspection rounds, manage material logistics (handling operating and auxiliary materials, and loading residues), and perform mandatory electrical and mechanical isolations. The ideal candidate must have a completed apprenticeship in an electrical trade, hold the mandatory qualification as a certified Power Plant Operator or Operator, and possess professional experience operating complex systems, preferably in a waste incineration plant or power station.
