Job Summary

This role involves joining an interdisciplinary development team focused on creating stabilized reconnaissance and observation systems for land-based civilian and military applications. The Systems Engineer is responsible for defining the system concept based on customer requirements and existing product portfolios. Core responsibilities include developing complex system architectures for optronic and mechatronic products, specifying individual electronic, mechanical, and optical assemblies, and managing technical coordination within the project team. A crucial part of the job is Requirement Management, overseeing qualification and engineering tests, and supporting product integration at the customer site. Candidates must possess a Master's degree in a relevant technical field (e.g., Electrical Engineering or Mechatronics) and several years of experience developing complex electro-technical devices. Fluency in German and very good English skills are required to succeed in this international high-tech defense environment.

Required Skills

Education

Completed Diploma or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, Physics, Technical Informatics, or comparable field. Doctorate (PhD) advantageous.

Experience

  • Several years of experience in the development of complex electro-technical devices
  • Professional experience in Systems Engineering (advantageous)
